Andy has more than twenty five years experience in church leadership, as part of the River Church Leadership Team based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He is also part of Pioneer’s national leadership and a member of Churches Together in England’s Group for Evangelisation. He has experience of both personal and corporate development work. Before becoming CEO, Andy edited the Links magazine for 15 years.
Andy is married to Lina and they have two adult daughters, Emma and Amy. Amy is married to Mike and they have two children, Bethan and Joshua.
Lynda has been involved in the work of Links for many years, originally supporting Rich and helping with magazine proof reading and mail-outs.
She now oversees all office work, from banking to general correspondence, administration to filing. Lynda also manages our Act4You accounts which continue to grow as we seek to serve people under the charitable umbrella of Links International.
She has 2 adult children, Sam and Amy.
Vicki liaises with project donors and funding recipients. She also manages Links trips with donors, partners and service providers. Vicki joined our partners at Wellspring in Uganda in March 2012 for a small IT team trip in which she gave IT training to their admin staff, clinic staff, dentist and teachers. She also helped to set up a school database.
Vicki is married to John and they have two daughters, Abigail and Lucy. Vicki is a governor of her daughters’ former school.
Mandy maintains the accounts of our Act4U clients as well as the accounts for Links itself. She prepares accounts information for quarter and year end and calculates our administration charges and gift aid on a quarterly basis.
Mandy started at Links in October 2006 having previously worked as a statistician with an insurance company.
She is married to Pete and they have two children, Sam and Alice. Mandy also regularly helps out in the classrooms of Alice’s school, is a Rainbow Guide Leader and enjoys taking part in shows, like Godspell. She also enjoys playing the piano, sewing and reading.
Ann works part-time, for Links International, with responsibility for the development of the community health care aspects of our work. This includes developing resources, trips and training.
She was awarded a Diploma in Tropical Nursing in Feb 2013. Ann also continues to keep in touch with health visiting practise in the NHS. One of her current Links projects is the development of a ‘Fit for the Future’ health roadshow for children, to be delivered in schools.
Ann is married to Andy, a vicar and lives in Yateley, Hampshire.
Paula assists with the day to day admin of the Links office. Paula has a background in health and fitness and ran the 2013 London Marathon on behalf of Links International.
Paula has 2 grown up children.
Graham and Ruth Swaffield
Graham and Ruth head up our marriage ministry.
Graham was a police officer in the Metropolitan Police, later becoming a deacon and then a pastor. Ruth was a children’s nurse before going in to general nursing.
In 1997 they came out of Church leadership and in 1999 set up a ministry to married people.
Graham and Ruth have been married since 1971 and have three children, Mark married to Kelly, David married to Karen and Mathew married to Lizzie. They have five grandchildren.
